𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡.𝟐 — 𝐊ö𝐧𝐢𝐠

Part One || Part Two

𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 : Leaving the Cyberlife store is an... experience for the broken android. After the workforce and standing idle in the store for so long, you finally bring König home, where he learns what it would mean to be your companion. 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 : 2.3 k 𝐚/𝐧 : sincerely, thank you all for the lovely comments and interactions on the first chapter ♡ (my android son is so cute ahgkgj-) 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 : fluff, hurt/comfort(?), domestic fluff, slow burn?

𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋. They had no programming to want. There were no lines of code that enabled them to dream. They were machines built to serve.
In theory, an android should not feel fear.
The WX-400, or König, glanced down at where your hand met his. The synthetic skin clasping imperceptibly onto yours. So warm and soft... and so much smaller in his own.
It kept him grounded when you guided him onto the sleek floors of the store, his sensors coming alight with all the new input his body was receiving. From being stuck in a paralyzing stasis, to feeling the cool spring sun on his skin; the slight chill of the store in his mouth; seeing the detailed cracks embedded into the pavement of the sidewalk.
His body felt like it was short circuiting. Jolted to life too fast, even if you had only led him to the curb. That soft smile on your face when he looked for assurance, still holding onto him.
What would happen if he let go? It didn't feel right to think that way. He was sure the world would not stop spinning below his feet if he did.
"König?"
Your voice made him snap out of it. Those stormy eyes of his hesitantly trailing up to meet yours.
"This is our ride," you tilted your head, gesturing to the polished self-driving car that sat on the corner of the street.
He didn't respond. Eyes flickering away, still holding onto your hand. It was a cute gesture. Maybe he just forgot to stop holding it? Or maybe the android didn't feel comfortable letting go without permission?
Hm...
You decided then: owning an android was hard.
The entire ride back to the house was a mix of stolen glances. Each entirely new to the other.
You, watching the way his soft eyes followed the people passing by on the street. Androids and humans alike. Watching, but never saying a word.
König was a sight to behold, and the smile that crawled onto your lips was inevitable.
Such a large android. Tall and built with the purpose of lifting ten times that of the average human... moving so gently, and with a hesitance for the world you'd only ever seen in stray animals.
And occasionally, when he felt you shift to watch your own window or the red-green lights of traffic. He'd consider you from the corner of his eye. Unreadable, before you could catch him and his eyes snapped back forwards.
People and buildings passed by in a blur of lights. Shops and a park filled with trees. Androids always obediently trailing after the humans who owned them, unable to do much but smile and tend to the children or shopping bags. Task after task, demand after demand.
When the car stopped at a red light, his eyes landed on a small girl, her pink rain jacket covered in a light sprinkle of rain. Jumping in every puddle she could with a giggle. The young android next to her, a dark-skinned man with long hair, smiled and did the same with her. Each taking a turn splashing gently in a puddle, unaware of the rest of the world around them, only enjoying the remnants of the rain.
Something in that image, the adoring smile on the android's face as he watched the girl play in innocent bliss, it stirred something for a long while, even after the car began to roll away.
He didn't know where the two of you were going. The thought of 'home' having no real meaning to him.
Back at the sites, the company only had two trucks to house their android workers. Rows of three in each truck, filled with small metal compartments for the mechanical men to stand in idly until the next job. Under lock and chain, so nobody stole company property, with no light except the one that blinked from his LED...
Soon, the commercial buildings melted into a quaint suburban neighborhood. Run down houses, but clearly lived in, with warm lights filling their windows.
Many had been put out of work due to the rise of android labor. He had heard one of the site managers complaining about it often.
König's eyes flickered over you for a moment again.
Did you work? Have a home or a family to go back to? People you lived with?
"We're here," you gestured sheepishly, unbuckling your seatbelt and climbing out of the car. Your hand finally slipping from his.
'Here' was a two story house with peeling paint and a handful of missing shingles. It looked like the surrounding houses. Puddles and mud around the sunken walkway from the rain, nothing but scrawny hedges growing yet.
König followed suit, ducking his head low to climb out of the car unscathed, towering back to his full height. Maybe the tallest android model built, at an impressive six foot ten inches.
He noticed you staring and his eyes hit the ground.
He was just-an amazing looking android, and his height was only more impressive to you. It was really hard not to smile. An android...
"Come on," you waved for him to follow you.
The closer you both got, the more he could see the wear. The fogged windows, the flickering outside light. Up the wooden porch that creaked dangerously under his weight, to the solid front door. That looked new.
"Well, here it is, home," you shrugged, the front door swinging open for the two of you.
"I just moved in," you explain as the android stepped through the doorframe to join you (having to bow his head again), peered around curiously. "The house is a bit old, but I'm going to fix it up for us," you nodded, looking around at the expanse of cardboard boxes in the living room. So sure of yourself.
Us?
The circular LED on his temple flickered yellow, a sign of stress that disappeared as quickly as it came.
"Here," you held your hand out for him, producing a small silver key for him to take. "House key," you explained with a sort of bounce in your toes.
It was for him, he realized.
He tilted his head, taking it from your hand, cool fingers brushing against yours as he considered you. Again.
You looked really... How should he describe it? Happy? Excited?
And you were. You had a house. A beautiful house that just needed a bit of care put into it, and an android unlike any you'd ever seen to help you make it a home.
"Well, I'd show you around but there's not much," you scratched at your neck with a sigh. It was a big house, just empty so far, and for the amount of stuff you had brought... You'd need a lot more to make it homey like you intended when you purchased the house.
You led him down the hall, shoes tapping against the wooden floorboards, dust lining the floors, but the house actually looked pretty sturdy to him.
"There's the living room, connects to the kitchen," you listed off as you walked by, "Washroom, and the basement door." You finished, pointing off to the left until you made it to the end of the hall. Still peering ahead towards a back door. Also new, he noted.
"Up the stairs is my room and a couple of... well empty rooms," you shrugged.
You had a lot on your plate, granted. Your eyes skimming over the backyard with a sigh. If you wanted flowers this year, they'd have to be planted fast... with the rest of the house to do, how hard could it be?
You spun around and faced König with a soft optimism, leading him back to the living room.
"Well, lets start with some of the bigger boxes," you nodded, the plan seeming to come together in your mind. "The movers did most of the heavy lifting, so I don't have to worry about pushing a mattress upstairs or moving all those dressers..."
It was true, there was a large cream colored couch already in the living room, along with a large white TV stand pushed against the wall.
It looked almost as big as you were, and the android found it a fitting comparison. Imagining you pushing that thing all by yourself just- didn't work in his mind.
König followed your lead, starting with the box on top of the pile that trailed along the hallway. Each one labelled quickly in sharpie.
Photos, Decorations, Dishes, Cleaning Supplies, Towels. All stuff that looked like it was supposed to be downstairs.
König decided though, to stick to the living room, carefully cutting open the taped up boxes with a precision that seemed impressive. Even manual. Carefully laying out photos and old picture frames you had decided were important.
There were a few that caught his eye. His slate colored irises lingering on your face as you smiled or laughed in a few of them. Surrounded by what he deduced were your closest friends or family members... all based on how happy you looked, or how you moved your hands to hold each person.
"You can leave the bigger ones aside König."
He nearly jumped.
"I'll put them up later," you assured him.
He glanced over his shoulder, where you now sat on the floor, fiddling with some small box in your hand.
He looked back to the photo's, a bit more hesitant to touch them now before he set them back into the box and turned towards you. The circular LED on his temple fluttering a yellow.
"I could put them up for you," he offered quietly. Given a drill or nails for them, it wouldn't take that long. In fact, the tools might've even felt familiar in his hand.
The sound of his voice, soft but rich and deep made you smile so wide he thought he had said something out of line.
He shouldn't have questioned you, he realized the mistake. His deeply scarred hands imperceptibly clasping into loose fists at his sides.
"Thank you," you began, "You could do that after we paint the walls tomorrow," you nodded, glancing around at the dim room around the two of you. "I was thinking maybe a light green? Or maybe even a smoky color?" you thought aloud, clearly having been undecided on the matter.
The LED turned blue again. The tension in his body suddenly melting away as you thanked him.
"Do you have a good color in mind?" You asked him then, suddenly wondering if androids had opinions. Or more specifically, if König did.
He shook his head quickly.
"No... favorite ones?"
And he shook his head again, his eyes fluttering downward. Was he... supposed to have one?
You only offered another soft smile, figuring as much. "We'll both come up with something," you assured quietly. Those soft eyes of yours trailing back up to him as you finally undid the box in your lap, pulling out a carefully wrapped vase. The beautiful glossy ceramic glinting in the fading light from the windows. Holding it up for him to take.
"It's going to be easier with you around," you joked softly, but it seemed true. The depth of your words had a faith in him that felt... unfamiliar.
He took the vase gently from your hands, his eyes flickering around as if he meant to say something, before he quietly turned and put it down onto a small table.
He returned to doing as you instructed, placing all of the big things into the room, leaving the walls bare for now.
The rest of the hours went by like that, you occasionally stopping to ask him something that seemed profound to his android brain.
Why would you want to know if he had a favorite animal? Or if he liked music?
What use could he have for preferences like that?
But he always answer politely, if not curtly, until the living room at least had the lights and the TV connected.
You sat down onto the couch with a huff, taking a moment to relax after the long day you'd had.
In truth, buying and owning an android never really seemed to have priority. This house did.
You glanced over at König, who was still working away quietly. Folding empty cardboard boxes up neatly and setting them aside for recycling.
"König."
He stopped when you addressed him, turning his attention back to you before he could grab another box and continue. Waiting for another command.
But, he was working too hard.
You patted the spot on the couch next to you.
And when he didn't move or seem to understand the gesture, your face lit up in amusement. "Come sit, relax for a bit," you trailed off. He was an android, sure, but it didn't mean... well that he was a machine.
The thought made your chest feel heavy suddenly. It was easy, with how human-like they looked, to forget that they weren't human.
The large android did as you said and sat down. The cushions dipping beneath him and making you lean that way with a small laugh.
He was so rigid, even for an android. Sitting up straight, scarred hands on his knees, not even leaning against the back of the couch. Unsure really what to do without someone's input.
'Relax?' Did he really know how to?
König watched you from the corner of his eye again as you flicked on the TV. Your feet pulled up, sinking comfortably into the cushions. Your knees almost brushing his.
It reminded him of the store, only a few hours earlier.
How warm you were next to him, and how that smile lingered on your lips as you watched the TV tiredly.
The moment you turned to catch his gaze, he straightened again, eyes forward, pretending to watch the screen. His LED blinking that sunny yellow.

mr. snap, if you would be so kind, please post the new magneto lore entry for those of us who suck at vidya and don't play rivals 🥹
Marvel Rivals Hero Lore Magneto Story #2 - "The Battle Within"
Full story below the cut:
Magneto hovered high above the nation of Krakoa. He had lived through more than his share of wars, but as he gazed down at the Mutant homeland below, he could barely begin to comprehend the full scope of the horrors unfolding o his own sovereign soil. Still, it was not as if he hadn't seen this coming...
When Emma Frost has first approached the Quiet Council with the idea of reviving her Hellfire Gala in the futuristic era that Mutantkind now called home, Magneto immediately voiced his reservations. He feared that some unknown force might try to take advantage of his people's hospitality to further their anti=Mutant agenda. With all eyes on their emerging nation, he knew they would have to tread extremely carefully. Still, he gave Emma his vote and let plans move forward, holding onto faith that he and his fellow X-Men would be able to take on any threat this new world could throw at them. What he failed to realize was that the biggest threat to Krakoa wouldn't come from Earth... at least not directly...
After the Gala began, the Krakoan gateways - which offered Mutants instant access to the island from various strategic points across the universe - were somehow hijacked by an invading army of artificial life forms led by the antagonistic android Ultron. As far as Magneto could tell from the mechanical madman's rantings, this version of Ultron had been built on Earth decades ago, but had subsequently been banished to the stars by the Avengers. Now, something had summoned Ultron back home, and he was determined to assimilate Earth into his growing cosmic empire during his visit. Krakoa was just another stop on his world domination tour. But if Magneto and his allies banded together and stopped Ultron now, it could very well be his last.
Chaos and carnage quickly erupted across the island as seemingly endless waves of Ultron's armed automatons arrived on the scene. AS most of the Mutant and human heroes who had assembled on Krakoa worked to fend off the streams of synthetic soldiers, Magneto turned his focus on finding the one true Ultron and ending his existence. And now, he had finally found his foe, who was currently distracted by the brutal attacks of a very angry Hulk dressed in the tatters of a suit. Magneto saw the opportunity to strike and seized it.
"No more, Ultron!" Magneto shouted as he rose into the air on a wave of magnetic force. "Krakoa is a free nation... and you shall not take it from us!"
Ultron didn't even bother to turn and look at Magneto. Instead, he dispatched dozens of his drones to attack the Mutant leader. But with just a wave of his hand, Magneto crumpled the legion of robotic soldiers into tiny spheres of scrap that rained down upon Krakoa's lush surface.
Magneto would not be insulted further by entertaining Ultron's puppet soldiers. He wished to face the true threat head on. He generated a massive sphere of magnetic energy between his hands, ready to unleash it at Ultron.
"Consider this battle--"
Before the Mutant Master of Magnetism could release his energy wave and complete his declaration of victory, he was unexpectedly hit with a powerful blast that seared a hole straight through his reinforced armor. It seemed that Ultron knew the threat Magneto posed after all, swiftly and silently removing his foe from the game board. As his body plummeted to the ground below, Magneto knew his battle was nearly over.
"Magneto!" Captain America yelled, racing over to aid his fallen Mutant ally. "Hang on soldier. We didn't both survive World War II only to be taken down by some rusty pile of--"
The Captain stopped himself suddenly . He had seen countless allies fall on the field of battle over his years in service, so he knew a fatal wound when he saw one. Magneto wouldn't last much longer.
"Do not fret, Captain," Magneto said, a strangely reassuring tone in his voice. "I have died... many times before... and this... won't be the last..."
As Captain America held Magneto in his arms, the Mutant leader's vision began to fade from red, white, and blue to a deep black.
--------------------
Many humans believe that a person's entire life flashes before their eyes in the seconds before their death. But the Mutants of Krakoa know otherwise. For them, their entire lives - every memory and every moment - flashes before their eyes in the seconds before their rebirth. This is a side effect of the Resurrection Protocols, a process in which a full scan of their minds is downloaded from Cerebro into a brand new body grown in the Krakoan Hatchery. It is a delicate process, but on that has given countless Mutants another chance at life. And today, that chance belonged to Magneto.
After what somehow seemed like both a split second and an eternity, the black of the void gave way to a blinding display of memories. Magneto saw his life as a young boy in Europe. His days as a prisoner in a concentration camp. The unexpected discovery of his mutant powers. His first meeting with Charles Xavier. The countless battles he fought for Mutant supremacy and, eventually, equality. And when his memories finally raced to the point where Ultron struck him down, Magneto emerged from his pod in the Hatchery, gasping for air, alive and whole once more.
Without a word or a moment of hesitation, Magneto used his powers to call forth the metallic elements buried in the Krakoan soil, fashioning himself a new suit of armor far more durable than his last. He then exited the Hatchery and headed to find Ultron. It would be easier to locate the villain this time, as Magneto had sensed a strange, otherworldly element in the alloy that covered the exterior of Ultron's frame. He honed in on that unique metallic signature and followed it to the heart of Krakoa, where he found Ultron swiftly approaching.
"Curious," Ultron said upon seeing Magneto alive and well. "I thought you life signs had been extinguished. When I detected your bio-signature suddenly return at another location, I had to investigate the anomaly."
"I am no anomaly," Magneto replied, hurling long spears of reshaped scrap metal toward Ultron at a furious speed. "Like so many of my Mutant brethren, I have simply been reborn."
"And you will be reborn once more," Ultron said, his devilish grin glowing in the darkness of the Krakoan jungle. "This time in my image."
Expecting a physical attack, Magneto erected an enormous metal shield in front of his body to protect himself from harm. But this time, Ultron released a cloud of techno-organic nano-bots that swiftly navigated past Magneto's shield and surrounded the Mutant's helmeted head. Magneto had already inhaled thousands of the microscopic machines before he could even think to create an electromagnetic aura around his body to repel them. Mere moments later. Magneto could already hear Ultron's voice buzzing inside of his head.
"Could this be...??" Ultron said, as his mind linked with Magneto's via the nano-bots' neural network. "Do you Mutants truly have a machine capable of resurrection? A way of growing powerful new bodies and downloading your consciousness into them? I simply must give it a test run!"
Magneto fought past the pain of his body's techno-organic invaders and reached out toward Ultron with all of his magnetic might. That much force should have instantly ripped Ultron asunder, but the sinister synthezoid's body barely bent.
The techno-organic virus I infected you with is programmed to prevent you from doing any harm to me,' Ultron gloated. "But even if it weren't, you powers would have little effect. My current form is forged of Mysterium. I've found it to be nearly immune to this planet's basic laws of nature and physics. Still, as impressive as that is, I can't help but wonder what my next body will be capable of. I have a feeling we'll find out soon enough..."
With that, Ultron departed, heading toward the Cradle where Cerebro was stored. Magneto tried to give chase, but found himself locked in a new war - one with his very own body. The machines in his bloodstream were swiftly replicating and seizing control. Because of their unique alien techno-organic composition, they contained almost no traces of magnetic metals, which meant that Magneto could not expel them from his body... a body they were claiming more and more of with each passing second.
For a moment, Magneto considered using his powers to impale himself on a metal pike, strategically triggering the Resurrection Protocols again so that he could be reborn in a body free of the virus. But if Ultron managed to get his hands on Cerebro, it could disrupt the entire process, making Magneto's next death - and the death of every other Mutant - far more permanent.
Instead, Magneto decided to forge ahead, struggling to make his way out of the dense jungle. Eventually, he found himself at the foot of a statue built in honor of Charles Xavier - the found of the X-Men and one of the driving forces behind the great nation of Krakoa. Magneto caught a glimpse of his reflection in the plaque at the statue's base. Nearly half of his body had already been converted into techno-organic matter by the virus, and it was spreading fast. Magneto gazed up at the larger-than-life figure of his old friend and thought back tot he many years they had spent together, both as enemies and as allies.
"Charles..." Magneto struggled to say "...is this... how the dream dies...?"
No. A familiar voice responded inside of Magneto's brain. Not like this. Not today.
Magneto didn't know if he was hallucinating, reliving a distant memory, or actually communicating with his long lost friend. But it didn't matter. Hearing Charles' voice in his head once more gave him the strength he needed to turn the tide of the battle within himself.
Magneto knew he couldn't take control of the nano-bots that he flood his bloodstream, but he could take control of the bloodstream itself, thanks to the iron in the hemoglobin of his red blood ells. If he could consciously slow his blood flow, he could half the techno-organic virus's advance. Magneto focused all his power inward and, within moments, he could feel the pain beginning to cease and the control over his body returning.
"Not like this, Ultron," Magneto said, echoing the words of his oldest ally as he returned to his feet and prepared to head back into the fray. "Not today."

TSAMS Rainworld AU
Okay so I'm batshit insane about rainworld and I want people who don't know what rainworld is to be able to enjoy this au too, so first a basic explanation of the important background relevant to this au.
Rain World is set in a harsh, decayed world where both the environment and the creatures are constantly fighting to survive. The biggest danger is the rain—massive, torrential storms that destroy anything caught outside. Every creature has to adapt, find shelter, and plan their survival around this constant threat. The world itself is a mix of crumbling ruins left by an ancient civilization and thriving ecosystems where every creature plays its part in the food chain.
The rain cycle isn’t random—it’s actually caused by the Iterators, these massive, god-like machines built by an ancient civilization. They overheat so much while running their endless calculations that they evaporate groundwater during the day. That water builds up in the atmosphere and falls back down as catastrophic storms at night.
This overheating issue ties the Iterators directly to the environment—they’re not just relics of the past but active forces that shape how the entire ecosystem works. Every creature has to live with the results, adapting to the rains and to each other in a world that’s always on the edge of collapse.
And then like for the purpose of the AU there's the four sapient creatures that are important.
The Iterators’ bodies are massive towers that dominate the landscape. These structures house complex machinery and biospheres, creating artificial ecosystems that merge with the natural environment. Many of the game’s regions (like subterranean tunnels, industrial zones, and ruined cities) are remnants of their infrastructure. They’re intelligent beyond comprehension, capable of vast calculations, and exist in isolation, suspended in towers that dominate the skyline. Despite their intelligence, they’re constrained by their programming and trapped in a decayed world they cannot fix. They were built to fix the Big Problem (death is not permanent in this world, everything is trapped in a constant state of reincarnation and the higher-intelligence creatures are aware of this fact).
Slugcats are small, agile creatures (about the same size as the iterator puppets if not larger which are android-type things connected to the iterators with wires) with exceptional adaptability and intelligence. They were originally made to clean pipes in the cities and possibly do maintenance on the iterators too, so they have extremely high levels of intelligence for a non-human creature. They represent the middle ground between sentient animals and the god-like Iterators, capable of navigating the dangers of the ecosystem with cleverness and perseverance. While primarily focused on survival, Slugcats can form bonds and interact meaningfully with other sapient creatures, and form communities among their own. They'll also adopt slugpups that they find in the wild. Also they can be genetically modified.
Scavengers are intelligent, humanoid creatures that live in tight-knit groups. They’ve adapted to trade, cooperate, and communicate with other creatures, especially Slugcats. While they can be allies, they’re also opportunistic and will turn hostile if provoked. Their behaviors show a level of societal organization not seen in other creatures, since if you piss one off you piss them all off.
Lizards are apex predators with varied behaviors and abilities. Some are faster, some can climb, and others are better at camouflage. They’re not mindless—Lizards can be reasoned with and even befriended if fed, becoming loyal allies instead of threats. While their sapience is minimal compared to other creatures, their ability to adapt and form relationships with Slugcats sets them apart from the simpler, purely instinct-driven creatures of the game.
I promise this is all the background you need to understand the AU, now it's AU time.
Earth (Watches the Earth) Solar (Singular Solarity) Crescent (Crescent of Tides - Solar's Moon in TSAMS) Angel (Angel Descending - Solar's Sun in TSAMS) – Angel is essentially brain-dead, having fallen into disrepair due to Crescent unintentionally hogging too much water.
The Iterators remain massive, supercomputers tasked with solving the problem of escaping the cycle of life and death. They require water as a cooling agent, and their overheating causes the rain cycle that defines Rain World’s ecosystem.
Ruin, has two pups: Artemis and Apollo (my names for his moon and sun beloved). They’re still with him in the present, as Ruin is recovering from severe and chronic injuries and will be disabled for his whole fucking life.
Ruin was horribly burned and injured but managed to crawl into Crescent of Tides’ (Solar's Moon in Iterator form) tunnels. Crescent finds him in this damaged state and nurses him back to health—but not without ulterior motives. Crescent is desperate for companionship, especially since he can no longer communicate with his siblings (Solar and Angel).
Crescent’s intentions start out well-meaning—he wants to keep Ruin safe—but quickly spiral into possessiveness. He refuses to let Ruin or his pups leave, believing it’s too dangerous outside. Ruin, still recovering and now with pups to care for, is dependent on Crescent despite desperately wanting his freedom. This creates a tense master-pet dynamic where Crescent is a sentient building and Ruin, a disabled Slugcat, relies on him while resenting his control.
Solar and Earth have a tragic relationship. Once best friends, they are now physically too far apart to see each other, and the satellites they use to communicate are degrading. Messages take longer and longer to send, but they keep trying despite knowing their connection is fading.
In the future, Solar bioengineers a Slugcat messenger (Jack) to deliver communication pearls, but that hasn’t happened yet. For now, Earth copes with her loneliness by bioengineering a lizard companion, Monty, who becomes her only friend.
Sun and Moon were separated, probably by scavengers, and are now on very different paths.
Sun ends up at Solar’s structure, which is still maintained enough to stay safe from the rains. Solar, lonely and in need of company, invites Sun to stay. Sun, unsure of how to find Moon and aware of the dangers outside, decides to stay longer than planned.
Moon, on the other hand, is in a frenzy trying to find Sun. He’s furious at the scavengers who separated them and has been killing them in a rage. His single-minded focus on finding his twin makes him dangerous and unpredictable.
While searching for Sun, Moon meets Lunar, another Slugcat, who has a bonded lizard companion (Firefly). The lizard acts as a guard, trading loyalty for food and shelter. Still unsure what I'm going to do with Lunar and Firefly, but they're probably going to end up as mates bc like. I am god and I want hybrid babies and I can do that. Now Lunar, Moon, and the lizard travel together as a group, with Lunar protected by two powerful allies.
At some point, Moon’s violent reputation among scavengers catches up with him, and Eclipse, an exiled scavenger, attacks him out of spite. However, Eclipse later joins their group and becomes a friendly ally.
The Rot is essentially a form of cancer in Rain World’s universe. In this AU, I’m giving it to Nexus. I might shove like. Another iterator in there with him (Helios/Dark Sun beloved) that he fucking gives cancer to when he dies and the rot takes over his body.

Romance, Fantasy, Sci-Fi Book Recs
A list for @ho3hologram and anyone else. I have NOT included the books I recc'ed you earlier in picture form Holo.
I've read 699 books since 2012, so here are the ones I've rated 4* and up - maybe a few 3* (the way I rated changed multiple times over the years). Fair warning, what I like might not be what you like, so read the synopsis, read other reviews, and decide for yourself; and if you think my recs are dogshit, keep it to yourself.
I also love delving into middle schooler books, like some TV shows they are better, IMO. They have more substance because they're trying to show and teach kids.
My Goodreads account is HERE if anyone wants to shift through my 3* and below books or my TBR.
The Books of Bayern - Shannon Hale (Middle Grade, Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance) In distant lands of magic and wonder, four young women will rise to save their kingdoms and their loved ones against the dark forces that threaten to tear them all apart.
I have a big fat nerd crush on Christopher Moore's writing. He has a Vampire series (A Love Story), a Demon series (Pine Cove), Coyote Blue (Urban Fantasy, Mythology, Romance/Love) as a 5* rating from me. One of my absolute favorites from him that I try to re-read every couple of years is Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. It's funny, it has romance and fantasy.
The Wicked Years - Gregory Maguire (Adult, Fantasy, Romance) The novels follow the Wicked Witch of the West, her friends, relatives, and enemies, through several decades as they witness some of Oz's most turbulent times. (Wicked of course influenced the Broadway play AND the movie, but there are 3 books following Wicked that are also A+, and a Book 0 of when Elphi was a child that I JUST saw when putting this together.)
Alice in Deadland - Mainak Dhar (Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Zombies) Civilization as we know it ended more than fifteen years ago, leaving as it's legacy barren wastelands called the Deadland and a new terror for the humans who survived- hordes of undead Biters.
The Android's Dream - John Scalzi (Adult, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Space Opera) A human diplomat kills his alien counterpart. Earth is on the verge of war with a vastly superior alien race. A lone man races against time and a host of enemies to find the one object that can save our planet and our people from alien enslavement...
Agnes and the Hitman - Jennifer Crusie (Romance, Mystery) Take one food writer named Cranky Agnes, add a hitman named Shane, mix them together with a Southern mob wedding, a missing necklace, two annoyed flamingos, and a dog named Rhett and you've got a recipe for a sexy, hilarious novel about the disastrous side of true love… (this book is almost 20 years old, good luck finding it, but I do love it)
I have a hard-on for everything Kay Simone has written that I've read. (Gay romance m/m, there's 1 android book) (Only Available on Kindle)
The Claidi Journals - Tanith Lee (Young Adult, High Fantasy, Romance, Adventure) All her life, Claidi has endured hardship in the House, where she must obey a spoiled princess. Then a golden stranger arrives, living proof of a world beyond the House walls. Claidi risks all to free the charming prisoner and accompanies him across the Waste. (From 2001. I do not rec the 4th book, I really only liked the first 3)
NOLA Nights - Thea de Salle (Adult, Romance, Erotica, BDSM) Hotel chain mogul Sol DuMont is about to learn that some of life’s biggest surprises come in deceptively small packages—namely a petite heiress named Rain who’s hell-bent on upsetting her family’s expectations
Ravenswood series - Talia Hibbert (Adult, Romance) In this small English town, feisty, outcast heroines are swept off their feet by the strong, sweet men who love them. (honestly, ANYTHING by Talia gets a rec from me)
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - Tylor Jenkins Reid (Adult, Romance, Historical Fiction, LGBT) Aging and reclusive Hollywood movie icon Evelyn Hugo is finally ready to tell the truth about her glamorous and scandalous life. But when she chooses unknown magazine reporter Monique Grant for the job, no one is more astounded than Monique herself. Why her? Why now?
Weezie and Bebe Mysteries - Mary Kay Andrews (Adult, Romance, Mystery) Eloise “Weezie” Foley, a recently divorced antique dealer, and BeBe Loudermilk, a triple-divorced restaurant owner, in Savannah, Georgia
Lizzy & Diesel - Janet Evanovich (Adult, Mystery, Modern Fantasy, Romance, Paranormal) Lizzy is an Unmentionable, with a special talent for finding things that Diesel needs. The Stones of Power have re-surfaced and Diesel needs to get to them before Wulf does. The Seven Stones of Power reflect each of the Seven Deadly Sins. (There's only 3 books and I think there's supposed to be 1 for each stone, the 3rd book came out in 2015 so idk if this series is getting finished lmao, but it's a fun read!)
Simonverse - Becky Albertalli (Young Adult, Romance, LGBT) (tbh I only read The Upside of Unrequited and Leah on the Offbeat) Seventeen-year-old Molly Peskin-Suso knows all about unrequited love—she’s lived through it twenty-six times. She crushes hard and crushes often, but always in secret. Because no matter how many times her twin sister, Cassie, tells her to woman up, Molly can’t stomach the idea of rejection. So she’s careful. Fat girls always have to be careful.
The River of No Return - Bee Ridgeway (Adult, Romance, Fantasy, Time Travel, Historical) Two hundred years after he was about to die on a Napoleonic battlefield, Lord Nicholas Falcott wakes up in twenty-first-century London. The Guild, a secretive fraternity of time travelers, informs him that there is no return. But Nick yearns for the beautiful Julia Percy, who remains in 1815. As fate and the fraying fabric of time draw Nick and Julia together once again, the lovers must match wits and gamble their hearts against the rules of time itself.
The Black Veins - Ashia Monet (Young Adult, LGBT, Urban Fantasy) Sixteen-year-old Blythe is one of seven magicians powerful enough to cause worldwide panic with a snap of their fingers. But Blythe spends her days pouring latte art at her family’s coffee shop, so why should she care about having apocalyptic abilities? (So this was supposed to be a series and it ends - I think? on a cliffhanger? Or it leaves it leading into obviously the 2nd one, but this came out in 2019...and there's no sequel, yet)
These Witches Don't Burn - Isabel Sterling (Young Adult, Romance, Fantasy, LGBT, Witches) Hannah’s a witch, but not the kind you’re thinking of. She’s the real deal, an Elemental with the power to control fire, earth, water, and air. But even though she lives in Salem, Massachusetts, her magic is a secret she has to keep to herself. If she’s ever caught using it in front of a Reg ( non-witch), she could lose it. For good.
Brimstone - Cherie Priest (Adult, Historical, Paranormal, Fantasy, Horror) In the trenches of Europe during the Great War, Tomas Cordero operated a weapon more devastating than any gun: a flame projector that doused the enemy in liquid fire. Having left the battlefield a shattered man, he comes home to find yet more tragedy for in his absence, his wife has died of the flu. Haunted by memories of the woman he loved and the atrocities he perpetrated, Tomas dreams of fire and finds himself setting match to flame when awake. . . .
Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynn Jones (Middle Grade, Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Magic) (tbh I only read book 1 and 3, I DNF'ed 2 bc I didn't like how it described one of the fat characters) The book is similar but very different from the movie. House of Many Ways (book 3): Charmain Baker is in over her head. Looking after Great-Uncle William's tiny cottage while he's ill should have been easy. But Great-Uncle William is better known as the Royal Wizard Norland, and his house bends space and time.
Song of the Dryad - Natalia Leigh (Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Fae) Seventeen-year-old Charlotte Barclay is still haunted by an encounter she had eight years ago—a run-in with a fairy beast that had eyes like witchlight and a taste for flesh. Charlotte has avoided the Greenwood ever since, pretending fairies don’t exist and choosing instead to focus her energies on graduating from high school and perfecting her audition piece for the Bellini Institute.
The Savior's Champion - Jenna Moreci (Young Adult, High Fantasy, Romance) Tobias Kaya doesn't care about The Savior. He doesn't care that She's the Ruler of the realm or that She purified the land, and he certainly doesn't care that She's of age to be married. But when competing for Her hand proves to be his last chance to save his family, he’s forced to make The Savior his priority.
Spoiler Alert - Olivia Dade (Adult, Romance) Marcus Caster-Rupp has a secret. The world may know him as Aeneas, star of the biggest show on television, but fanfiction readers call him something else: Book!AeneasWouldNever. Marcus gets out his frustrations with the show through anonymous stories about the internet’s favorite couple, Aeneas and Lavinia.
The Nightmare-Verse - L.L. McKinney (Young Adult, Urban Fantasy, Romance) In L. L. McKinney’s urban fantasy series reimagining Alice in Wonderland, an Atlanta teenager struggling with real-world issues also combats monstrous creatures in Wonderland with a combination of magic weapons and martial arts skills. And living such a complicated double life could cause Alice to lose her head…literally.
The Merciful Crow - Margaret Owen (Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Magic) Follow a young chieftain from a lowly caste of mercy-killers who strikes a bargain with the crown prince to preserve the future of her clan.
Ash Princess Trilogy - Laura Sebastian (Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance) Theodosia was six when her country was invaded and her mother, the Fire Queen, was murdered before her eyes. On that day, the Kaiser took Theodosia's family, her land, and her name. Theo was crowned Ash Princess--a title of shame to bear in her new life as a prisoner. For ten years Theo has been a captive in her own palace. She's endured the relentless abuse and ridicule of the Kaiser and his court. She is powerless, surviving in her new world only by burying the girl she was deep inside.
Legends and Lattes - Travis Baldree (Adult, Fantasy, Cozy, LGBT, Romance) When an injury throws a young, battle-hungry orc off her chosen path, she may find that what we need isn't always what we seek.
Shades of Magic - Victoria E. Schwab (Young Adult, Fantasy, Magic, Historical Fiction) Kell is one of the last Antari--magicians with a rare, coveted ability to travel between parallel Londons: Red, Grey, White, and, once upon a time, Black. Officially, he's an ambassador; unofficially, he's a smuggler. After an exchange goes awry, Kell escapes to Grey London and runs into Delilah Bard, a cut-purse with lofty aspirations. Now perilous magic is afoot, and treachery lurks at every turn. To save all of the worlds, they'll first need to stay alive.
Constellation - Claudia Gray (Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Romance, Space Fantasy, Dystopia) (This is the series I was talking about that I didn't remember!) Noemi and Abel are enemies in an interstellar war, forced by chance to work together as they embark on a daring journey through the stars. Their efforts would end the fighting for good, but they're not without sacrifice. The stakes are even higher than either of them first realized, and the more time they spend together, the more they're forced to question everything they'd been taught was true.
Southlands - Rachel Hartman (Young Adult, Fantasy, Dragons, Romance) Four decades of peace have done little to ease the mistrust between humans and dragons in the kingdom of Goredd. Folding themselves into human shape, dragons attend court as ambassadors and lend their rational, mathematical minds to universities as scholars and teachers. As the treaty's anniversary draws near, however, tensions are high. Seraphina Dombegh has reason to fear both sides. An unusually gifted musician, she joins the court just as a member of the royal family is murdered—in a suspiciously draconian fashion. Seraphina is drawn into the investigation, partnering with the captain of the Queen's Guard, the dangerously perceptive Prince Lucian Kiggs. While they begin to uncover hints of a sinister plot to destroy the peace, Seraphina struggles to protect her own secret, the secret behind her musical gift, one so terrible that its discovery could mean her very life.
Between Earth and Sky - Rebecca Roanhorse (Adult, Fantasy, LGBT, Indigenous) In the holy city of Tova, the winter solstice is usually a time for celebration and renewal, but this year it coincides with a solar eclipse, a rare celestial event proscribed by the Sun Priest as an unbalancing of the world. Meanwhile, a ship launches from a distant city bound for Tova and is set to arrive on the solstice. The captain of the ship, Xiala, is a disgraced Teek whose song can calm the waters around her as easily as it can warp a man’s mind. Her ship carries one passenger. Described as harmless, the passenger, Serapio, is a young man, blind, scarred, and cloaked in destiny. As Xiala well knows, when a man is described as harmless, he usually ends up being a villain.
Ok these are the first 29, bc we're only allowed to add 30 links. I will reblog and add more tomorrow, because it's a little after 1am now and I'm sleepy.

I need to geek out about the end of Nier: Automata. By which I mean ending E, the (presumably) canon ending.
Okay, so the setup of the game: there are two classes of synthetic lifeforms, androids and machines, playing out an endless proxy war between their absent creators. Over the course of the game, you discover tons of machines who have developed personalities and free will, which for most of them has meant forming family groups. Androids have kept more in line, but some of them too have started to stray and to dream of family.
But there's a third class of synthetic intelligence: the pods.
Initially, 042 and 153 connect with each other just to optimize the mission, since they work so closely together. But as the game progresses, it becomes clear that they care about their assigned androids, and about each other.
In the end, the protagonists all lie dead, trapped by the cycle of violence and revenge. It's not they but the pods (specifically 042) who decide that this is not acceptable. Though they never spoke of it as such, the three androids and two pods comprise their own little family unit, and 042 is not going to let it slip away when something can be done.
So they turn to the player for help with recovery. And this is where it turns from just a lovely story to one of the most powerful experiences I've had in gaming.
Data recovery consists of the same kind of bullet-hell hacking game you've been playing throughout. But it's not just abstract nodes you're fighting--you're being attacked by the credits themselves. Not a wholly original mechanic, but in the context, it means that every single person who worked on this game is trying to stop you from changing the ending.
And they are ruthless about it. Even if you're very good at these kind of games, you're gonna die a lot. Each time you die, you're confronted with a question asking you if this is pointless and if you should just give up. You have to keep saying "no" and choosing to press on, with encouraging messages from other players popping up in the background.
Eventually, an offer of help will come in from another player. Accept it and now you have a little squadron raining some bullet hell of your own. Every time you get hit, you get a message that someone's data has been deleted.
(Yes, because the way this works is that another player somewhere in the world offered up their actual save file to be part of this support squad.)
Oh, and not only this, but the lovely vocal solo that's been playing the whole time is now joined by a chorus of voices backing her up.
I swear I get goosebumps and cry every time.
And then, after you've survived that, there's a final scene with the pods gathering up the parts to repair their androids. They muse that the cycle might just repeat itself, but there's a chance it might not. And that chance is worth all the risk.
Automata is a harrowing, heartwrenching game where you constantly have to make painful choices. But ending E is where you get the game's ultimate message: there's a chance things could be different next time, but only if you connect with others. Only if you make a family.
This game is a goddamn masterpiece.

[MV] 이달의 소녀 1/3 (LOONA 1/3) "알 수 없는 비밀(Sonatine)"
LOOΠΔ 1/3 [Love & Evil] LOOΠΔ is a K-pop group building its own view of the world. Six members of LOOΠΔ, HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, YeoJin, ViVi, and JinSoul, have been introduced, and the unit of LOOΠΔ 1/3, composed of HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, and ViVi has been announced to the public so far. LOOΠΔ 1/3 has released [Love&Live]. Filled with sense of youthful love, ‘Love&Live’ was an album to express their palpitating emotions in the boundaries of contemporary K-pop girl group music of 2017. A month later, LOOΠΔ 1/3 releases [Love&Evil], a inverted version of the album [Love&Live]. As suggested by the word ‘Evil’, which is reversely-spelled word from ‘Live’, [Love&Evil], which was planned beforehand during production, is filled with pain and worries in the process of love, in the opposite characteristics of the prior record. “Is love something sweet? Or is it something cruel?” It might be a question too difficult for young girls to answer yet. The title track ‘Sonatine (알 수 없는 비밀)’ takes the encounters of love away towards the adolescence of the girls. While ‘Love&Live (지금, 좋아해)’ was a typical K-pop girl group track with lovely emotions, ‘Sonatine (알 수 없는 비밀)’ mesmerizes the audience with mystical melodies unexpected for a K-pop girl group. The intro track ‘Love & Evil’ produced by SWEETCH materializes a girl who is lost alone in a dark forest. With the piano played in Accelerando, the girl runs away deeper into the forest. Four girls then gather to sing a ‘Sonatine’ to cast an arcane spell of love. The album continues with a newly released track, ‘Rain 51db (비의 목소리 51db)’ which is an homage to the first generation K-pop girl groups, S.E.S and Fin.K.L. It also shows their love towards themselves, trying to revitalize the sentiments of the golden era. Like ViVi’s previous attempt in ‘Everyday I Love You’, LOOΠΔ 1/3 time-travels back to the 90’s, with the question of “what if LOOΠΔ was created in the 90’s?”. They then raise their innocent and pure voices up as if ‘Rain 51db’ is the original soundtrack to an animation film with a storytelling, singing that they have “dreams that they do not wake up from.” HeeJin meets HyunJin, who goes to the same school in the same grade. HaSeul is a warm friend who is like a mother to YeoJin. ViVi, an android who can’t speak Korean very well introduces JinSoul in Hong Kong. Each member’s character is pronounced vividly. Is story of love that 1/3 girls tell ‘Love&Live’ or ‘Love&Evil’? A new member will be announced in May to build up a new view of the world. The girls of May, June, and July will be of another unit. The girls who are lost in the forest have gathered here. Can they save YeoJin?

i've slept on it. here's my alien romulus review
Alien Romulus
Starting with the callbacks and references to other movies, I have to say: I don’t tend to enjoy that, personally. It makes it feel like the movie wasn’t confident in itself enough to be able to stand on its own and the references often come across as a crutch. That said, the only reference in Romulus that felt gratuitous to me was when Andy saved Rain and said “stay away from her, you bitch”, but that moment was cool enough, and I liked Andy enough, that I just enjoyed it. Plus it’s a cool line and David Jonsson’s delivery was perfectly in character so it came off more fun than insecure.
The set design was very visually similar to Alien and Alien: Isolation and the opening scene with the ship coming online was, if not a shot-for-shot recreation, a clear reference to the opening of Alien. This could’ve felt like a bad way to start the movie – being too similar to something else runs the risk of failing to establish its own identity – but frankly, it was so nice to see the same chunky tech tying everything together, and it utilised the atmosphere super well to set up that creeping, slow terror, especially with the combination of close-up shots on the computer screen and the wide, empty shots of space – it perfectly juxtaposed the two scariest parts of the Alien franchise: the claustrophobic interiors where anything can be hiding, and the vast uncaring space outside. A lot of the shots inside the Romulus station were clearly inspired by the game Isolation, too, but not to the movie’s detriment. Isolation was fucking terrifying and the movie capitalised on that nicely. There was a shot looking down an escalator that launched me back to playing Isolation and the fear of not knowing what was around the corner, or up the hallway, or in the next room and the movie used these hallway shots to the same effect.
Ian Holm’s cameo was fun. The special effects and CGI were not. Obviously they couldn’t get him back (rest in peace), and they wanted to use the same android model for effect, and it worked! But yeah, yikes, the CGI was bad, especially at first. You can say the slippery way his face looked like his skin was sliding around was an artistic choice to show how damaged the android’s body was but I don’t believe that for a second. What I will say is that they used this new android, Rook, really well. His explanation for what happened to the xenomorph they found (and I have no idea how that xenomorph was within the wreckage of the Nostromo when Ripley ejected it from the Narcissus pretty far away from the Nostromo and also after it had self-destructed but whatever) and, importantly, WHY THEY WANTED IT. Oh my god, the vague “they want it for the military uses” is super annoying and that was the only logic we’ve ever gotten about why Weyland-Yutani was so interested in the alien in like forty years. But the set-up and pay-off of this reveal was beautiful. We saw in the opening scenes of the movie that life on other worlds was hard and dangerous and thousands die and people are exploited and it’s horrible. And then giving Weyland-Yutani this “we actually want to help people adapt to harsher environments” as a perfectly noble goal that got twisted by capitalism, but this movie is set like… in the in-between. Before the capitalist dogs ruin the science. This movie is the beat before the fall and that’s… so great. So different.
This reveal did two things very nicely: it tied together the stupid and ridiculous genealogy crap from Prometheus and Covenant (I don’t like those movies and I won’t pretend to) with the other, better movies. If we disregard David’s attempts at playing god (and believe me, I do my best at this every day) then this whole ordeal with the alien was simply that they are highly adaptive due to the black goo (chemical [stupid designation here] – 15) and the company wants to use that to help humanity (be easier to exploit) survive in space. Makes sense! Alien mutations are a nasty by-product, unfortunately, just need to perfect the science.
The main thing that bothered me with this movie was the… white man alien at the end. It was very inspired by the Newborn in Resurrection which I also did not like. (I enjoyed the CONCEPT of the Newborn, but the visuals were just… not great to my mind, not even in the satisfying body horror kind of way, either, just… kind of ugh and meh and wtf did you do to his nose?) This was the same but reversed: a human gives birth to a part-xeno-part-human child and faces the consequences. (And why did Kay even inject herself anyway, she was going into cryo she didn’t need it, she’s just fucking stupid.) Given what happened to the rat in that box, I was expecting (and hoping) Kay would have some sort of horrendous lumpy mutation burst out of her skin and ruin her but leave her alive in this Scorn kind of way (trapped in a fleshy and dysfunctional body, aware but unable to do anything, knowing you did this to yourself and also that you have no way to revert it, perhaps even hurting those close to you and having to watch that happen, helpless to stop it). But no. Birthing an acidic vag-pod was… fun and distressing, obviously, but I didn’t find the slenderman looking white-boy very scary at all. It landed squarely in the uncanny valley, for sure, but idk the design just didn’t do it for me. And I understand the fun part of this: the horror of childbirth (Kay had a lot of that going on, after watching Navarro give birth from her chest and DIE, she was not having a very nice pre-childbirth experience), the visceral rejection she felt, the child eating the mother, that was all very nice, very intense, loved it. (I’m one of those weirdoes who thinks that the predalien turning that lady’s pregnancy into alien: quintuplets was extremely fun and I’ve always wanted to see that expanded upon.) But Kay herself didn’t seem to have any adverse reaction to being injected with the goo, only her baby. I wanted her to have a negative reaction, I wanted Rain to have to face her down, I wanted a little of that ‘Romulus killed his brother to found Rome’ energy here. (And it would’ve tied in nicely with what Rook said about humans having too many emotions and not wanting to believe the best choice is to kill someone. Make Rain face that herself!!)
Otherwise this movie was a fucking masterclass and I enjoyed every second. The visuals, the sound design, the practical effects, the – and I cannot stress this enough – the CAMERWORK. The slow rolls of the camera to mimic the zero gravity? The close-ups on the horribleness so we definitely don’t miss a second of what’s going on? Outstanding. The grungy, drippy, dampness of everything was 10/10, the alien having a vaginal-themed chrysalis (thank you, I’ve waited years for this moment), the cattle prod going into it and coming out melted? Yes, oh my god, yes. The tail spine emerging slowly? And piercing back? OH MY GOD, YES!
The inherent horror of watching your brother become a monster and having to save him from himself? Andy’s part in this movie was so fucking stellar I’m in love with it. David Jonsson absolutely stole the show for me. The symbolism of it all; if you drink from the capitalist wellspring, you become a monster who doesn’t care about anyone, not even those who you counted as family. The moment when he clapped his hand over his ear to stop Rain from removing the chip? How many people have to deal with family members who have drunk the Kool-Aid and won’t hear different? This was that on screen.
And I have to say, this was the best cast of characters an Alien movie has had in… idk a while. They actually felt like distinct people with some personality which was refreshing considering Covenant had a bland bunch of faceless people I couldn’t tell apart and didn’t care about anyway. This movie knocked that one out of the water, it’s really a night-and-day comparison. Even though none of the characters in Romulus had super-fleshed out backstories, they were all going through something and had distinct arcs: Rain and Andy struggling to get off-world and not end up like their parents, Kay’s pregnancy being a secret, Bjorn losing his mum to Android Logic™, Tyler feeling like he has the burden of keeping them all alive and together and failing. Navarro died first, she had the least characterisation, and I don’t mind that, but she at least had on-screen presence and was memorable for what happened. Her last words “don’t let me die” whispered in such a pitiful way because she knows she’s going to die but that’s not really what she’s asking, she doesn’t want to be forgotten. Like. That’s heartbreaking. And she WAS memorable because of it, not just as the pilot or the one who did the cool thing with the xray light.
The zero-grav scene where Rain shot all the xenos in the hallway was extremely fun and novel and NEW, having to navigate through a maze of acid blood wasn’t just a cool visual, it tied nicely into the themes: they were navigating the metaphorical acid maze that Weyland-Yutani left behind. And oh, the continual conflict of going back for someone versus saving yourself? That was good. Bjorn leaving everyone else behind to save Navarro, Tyler watching Kay get alien-napped and then going back for her later, Rain going back for Andy directly into the alien nest. Bravo.
Overall, I had a blast with this movie, it was really good. Definitely the best Alien movie in a long time. I felt it missed a few opportunities, especially at the end, I appreciate the effect they were going for with the Offspring creature but it felt like a miss to me when they could’ve done something fun with turning Kay into a monster and continuing the thread about humans trying to save each other. Maybe the Offspring will grow on me with a rewatch, like how the Newborn did, but eh. Was a good movie regardless.

Unexpected Meetings
Hey y’all! This is a work of fiction that I’ve been working on and I really hope you guys enjoy it! It’s a bit of a Detroit: Become Human! AU with a little bit of NHL hockey mixed into it, so if you’re unfamiliar with one fandom, or both, hopefully I did an alright job with giving enough background info and insight. I want to also thank @onigirimiya11 for proof-reading this and helping me with editing, and my younger sister for being a beta reader. Once again, I hope you enjoy this! :)

Kamski University – Detroit, MI
Raindrops fell upon the dim lit streets of Detroit, puddling and creating mirrors and portals to another universe. The arched building of Kamski University pointed at the sky, as if it were pointing to a god. But there was no other god in Detroit besides Elijah Kamski himself. Android mastermind, a scientist who played god, created machine so close to man, perhaps even a mirror of man. He lived away on the outskirts of Detroit, away from the public eye.
Students at Kamski University were some of the most brilliant minds, only a select few could be enrolled after passing a complex exam along with a few other tests of intelligence. Many looked up to the students at Kamski University. Young, intuitive, dedicated researchers were a model for students all across the globe. They followed the steps of Kamski, working on technology to further advance what man has created, to be better than before. Why play god and end what you have done when you can raise demi-gods?
Many scholars at this time spend their hours working on a project, a new advancement for Detroit, or researching a new discovery, in hopes of clarifying what it would mean for the world. It was never about themselves, it was always what they could do for the future, for Kamski.
She sat there staring at the laptop screen, sorting the lines of code into a more organized unit, the numbers and commands becoming a language that she understood by heart. It was like a tongue that she grew up with, a song that she has recited plenty of times. It started to become a blur in her eyes, the numbers not making sense like it used to a minute ago, the errors in her code becoming more prominent. Her eyes strained at the glaring screen, searching for a solution that wasn’t so evident.
Frustration was building up inside of her, a beast that was starting to be awoken with one small mistake, a monster that could snap at any given moment. She got up and shut the laptop closed, removing the irritating lines of code out of her sight. Her hands reached to her bag, to the door handle, and out of the confining dorm room.
Few minutes from the campus of Kamski University was a museum, a time capsule embedded into the center of Detroit, moments of history frozen into one single place all together. The rain blurred the sharp corners and lights of the building, fading it into the background of the large, noisy city.
She stepped inside of the museum, the soft glow of the lights inside pulling her in further, lulling her into a calm state of mind, a gentle focus on the artifacts on display within the museum. Her footsteps echoed in the almost vacant museum, making it evident that she was allowed to be lost in her own world for a fragment of time.

10:20:38 PM – 13th November, 2042
Little Caesars Arena – Detroit, MI
The Florida Panthers won an ice hockey game in overtime against the Detroit Red Wings, causing the city to sulk in its loss while the rowdy players filled up a local bar to celebrate victory. Matthew Tkachuk was a well known name amongst hockey players, making his way to the Hockey Hall of Fame with his dedication to winning the Stanley Cup, and with his latest game, scoring the winning goal in overtime.
“C’mon Chucky, just one drink at the bar, please!” Lundell pleaded. “You scored in OT! We’ve got to celebrate right?” He searched Matthew’s face for an answer.
Matthew shook his head and sighed, “No, sorry guys.” The group of men groaned and threw complaints around for a bit.
“Just one drink, Matty,” Lucas said. “and then you can go do whatever you want.”
“No, I’m sorry, I just want to relax and go to sleep early tonight guys,” the chorus of groans and sighs started again.
“Alright guys, let’s leave him alone now. He kind of does have a point,” he went off. “Hope you have fun though Matty.”
Matthew nodded and gave them a tight-lipped smile before heading down the street away from the crowded bar. The small corner-shops and store-fronts passed by him like a hazy memory as he walked down the street. Some stores with toys he played with as a kid, books that he got lost in as a young child.
His footsteps were leading him elsewhere, and he was wandering around the streets of Detroit aimlessly. Wanderlust was drifting around within him, like a young child with freedom in an amusement park full of stuffed animals on display, and the sickly-sweet smell of treats hung around the corner.
The fuzzy city skyline of Detroit painted the night sky, replacing the stars with man-made ones. Dabbles of blue hues hung in the air against metal skyscrapers that grasped the sky, reaching for something above the stormy dark clouds.
He stood on the museum steps, taking in everything that was in front of him. The columns of the building towered over him, the soft glow of the museum pulled him in, the gritty aura of Detroit this late alongside the unpleasant weather conditions seemed to force him into the museum.
And there he stood, inside the museum, seemingly alone with all the trinkets of history. Soft, blue lights illuminated the artifacts and sculptures in the museum, and occasional warm yellow lights hung around certain displays like fireflies. Paintings aligned on the wall stared back at him, peering at his every step deeper into the museum.

11:04:53 PM - 13th November 2042
Henderson Museum - Detroit, MI
She walked around the museum for a little while, getting lost in the taxidermied wildlife displays. She saw how eerily still the lion looks in a defensive stature against another lion. The simulated background looked so realistic, as if she was there right in front of the fight that was presented right in front of her.
In another, she saw a sleuth of bear cubs fighting each other playfully in a forest, their paws up in the air defensively, mouths agape as if they were caught mid-roar. She smiled softly at the thought of animals experiencing joy just like humans do.
As she wandered around the dimly lit museum, she became more entranced than before, each display more immersing than the last. She observed the great blue whales that seemed to float across the ceiling of the museum slowly, the jellyfish that drifted in a rhythmic motion around the center, with different soft translucent colors floating against the blue ocean above, and starfish of varying colors and patterns clung onto the walls, decorating them in a constellation only found on Earth.
Her footsteps led her along to a small library in the museum. It was well furnished with some small tables and a couple of chairs, as well as some cozy cushions that were sat on a rug that was on the floor. Old-fashioned oil lamps were hung against the wall, giving the room a warm yellow glow that comforted her how Detroit couldn’t. The tall, oak-wood bookshelves were well stocked with encyclopedias and textbooks regarding various subjects that the museum displayed.
She reached for a book that sat on top of a table nearby one of the bookshelves and picked it up in her hands. Examining the cover, she noticed it was 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, a childhood classic of hers. She daydreamed about exploring what could be under the ocean surface, what kind of creatures she would see, and all the sorts of tales she would be able to tell.
As she took a step backwards, she accidentally bumped into someone behind her, which startled her for a brief moment before she let out an apology.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t see you there-” she laughed awkwardly as her face became flushed in embarrassment.
“No no, it’s alright.” The man smiled. “It’s pretty late anyways so I didn’t expect another person here either.” He chuckled.
She sent a friendly smile back, observing him lightly, noticing the mop of curly hair on his head, the little gap between his front teeth, and his warm, soft eyes.
“It’s nice to meet someone in the museum, even if it’s this late ya’know,” he laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. The warm glow of the library illuminated his gentle smile and friendly demeanor.
“Yeah it is, even if I wanted to be here alone, it’s a bit nicer having someone around,”
“Ouch,” he feigned a feeling of hurt, “trying to kick me out of a museum now?”
She quickly tried to sputter out an apology but he finished his thought.
“Just kidding around, sorry. I understand sometimes though, it was pretty cool seeing the museum being empty with no people inside,” he said as he looked at her, “or at least, when I thought there were no people inside.”
Her head nodded in agreement before adding on to his statement. “No, yeah, totally agree. Detroit really outdid themselves with this museum.” She set the book she had previously picked up back on the table nearby her, before turning back to him. “And dare I say, better than the development of androids?” she smirked.
He scoffed, “What makes you say that?”
“Know a few things here and there.” She shrugged.
He looked at her skeptically before continuing to speak again. “Well it’s nice having some company, want to walk around the museum with me?”
“Yeah, sure, that’d be nice,” she smiled.
“Great! I really wanted to explore the planetarium exhibit. I've always wanted to learn more about the planets, but I’ve never had enough time to because of-” He quickly cut himself off before he started rambling. “I’m so sorry, I ramble sometimes,” he said sheepishly.
“No it’s okay, I like hearing you talk.” She looked at him warmly.
He felt himself blush and it seemed like it was just the both of them in the museum, with all the time in the world to explore whatever their hearts desire. “I’m glad to hear that.” His smile was bright, the little gap between his teeth making him look all the more sweet.
She stood near the open doorway of the library and motioned for him to follow along. “Should we go check out the planetarium?”
He nodded and gave her a soft smile, to which she started walking towards the planetarium. They both exited the library, and the warm, mellow glow of the library subsided. It was replaced with a cool, deep blue cast, the signature of Detroit was evident. As they both got closer to the planetarium, stars began slowly appearing on the ceiling, little white dots glimmered against the dark background, mimicking the night sky if it wasn’t so harshly wiped out by the cities.
He could hardly make out her silhouette in the dim lighting, which worried him a bit, because he didn’t want her to get lost or separated from him. As he thought about it, he found it odd that he was worried about her, having just met a half-hour ago, but he pushed the thought aside and reasoned it as ‘basic human morals’ to care about losing a stranger that he had just met.
They both reached the planetarium and were greeted by an android staff member near the entrance. “Welcome to the Henderson Museum Planetarium. How many occupants are viewing the show today?”
“Just two,” he said.
“Wonderful, please follow me,” the android instructed.
They both followed behind the android and into the planetarium. It was a large setting, a quiet and dark circular theater and a large dome-shaped ceiling hung above their heads. She looked up in awe, seeing how full of grandeur the planetarium was.
“Holy smokes, this is-” she paused, “spectacular.”
He stood beside her, looking upwards as well, but he was held speechless. His heart felt so full of lovingness for the moment he was held in. He moved his gaze to her face, noticing her wonder for even just the empty theater, and the beauty she held was amplified tenfold by her desire to explore.
The speakers in the theater announced that the showing was about to begin and viewers should be seated to best enjoy the experience. Lights around the theater began to dim, and they both took their seats.
As soon as they were both seated, the large dome was lit up with a vivid projection of the galaxy, the Milky Way was stunning with all the hues of blue and purple bands on display. Stars were scattered in different variations, and some shone brighter than others.
“This is gorgeous,” he spoke breathlessly.
“It really is.” Her gaze was still held in the magnificent view in front of her. He looked at her gently, observing how the stars reflected in her eyes, and how she was so captivated by each description of the galaxy.
He thought about holding her hand for a moment, the feeling of having her hand in his in a gentle clasp, sharing this moment together.
“Can I ask you a question?” he whispered softly.
She turned his head to him, her attention broken away from the dome above. Her head nodded as a response.
“May I,” he paused, “may I hold your hand?” Time froze as he waited for her answer. Was he being too forward? His stomach fell, he started to regret even asking the question.
“Sure thing,” she responded with a soft smile. Her face was dusted in a blush, as he held his hand out to her. She gently put her hand within his, resting it peacefully. His heart fluttered at the touch and she felt the same way as well. A fuzzy-warm feeling drifted over them like a blanket, and he wasn’t sure if it was because of how late it was in the night or if it was the warmth of her hand in his.
The display went on, multiple planets and moons being described with intricate detail, their bright and yet soft colors spun in front of the sparkling stars. The moment went on as if they were floating amongst the stars and planets without anyone else. It felt so surreal to be in a situation like this, away from all the stress of reality.

Henderson Museum - Detroit, MI
As they both exited the museum, hands were still intertwined with each other closely, the harsh winter air of Detroit struck them both, causing them to shiver. He glanced over at her and noticed how much colder she seemed, and how her grasp on him was closer than before.
He took his jacket off before offering it to her, “Here, take my jacket. Don’t want you to catch a cold or anything,” he said.
She accepted his offer and put the jacket over her shoulders, already feeling how much warmth it provided. “Thank you so much, but what about you?” she questioned. “I don’t want you getting sick either,”
“I can handle it, I’m a tough guy,” he chuckled.
She nodded her head in response as they started walking down the street. His cologne was slightly noticeable on his jacket, a calm and yet bold scent. The rain had eased at this hour, but the cold weather had not. It was much more quiet without cars and traffic in the street, and it seemed much less like the noisy Detroit she knew by heart.
“Sorry if this question is personal, but are you able to get home? I can call a cab if you want,” he asked.
“No worries, I’m able to get home easily.” She smiled. “Just a brief walk to the university down there,”
He nodded in acknowledgement, allowing the peaceful silence between the two of them to linger in the air. As they continued walking, the realization struck him, he was most likely never going to see her again. He didn’t want her to leave his life, he wanted to spend more time with her like this.
“Can I get your number? I mean,” he corrected himself quickly, “so that we can talk again. I really enjoyed tonight, even if it wasn’t planned,”
She found his awkwardness endearing and she smiled back, “Of course, I really enjoyed tonight as well, even if it was unexpected,”
They exchanged phone numbers and she looked up at him. “I am so sorry, but what’s your name?”
He then realized that he never even told her his name, to which he responded with embarrassment. “I am truly sorry,” he chuckled, “my name is Matthew.”
“That’s a cute name, do you want your jacket back Matthew?” she asked.
“No thanks, it looks a lot better on you.” He winked.
They both laughed as they parted ways, the sparks between them ablaze, their hearts both warm and content with what they’ve shared and the memories they’ve created.

What's one of your favorite songs right now?
THIS!! IS THE HOUR OF MY FAVOURITE MUSICIANS PROPAGANDA
so. so. im a big fan of BLACK DRESSES. they are my favourite band forever. and i love devi mccallion's and ada rook's own music as well!!!!!!!
SHORT ANSWER: every black dresses songs and most of devi mccallion's and ada rook's discography + the ones i mentioned riiight in the end of this post
LONG ANSWER: i CAN'T pick ONE of my favourite songs bc im INSANE about music so im just gonna drop a small list of songs that are literally playing in my head as i type this bc background music is always in my head
i do have to say quite a lot of their songs have explicit language in 'em and are usually very loud if you decide to give them a listen, like i don't doubt that it's not for everyone but just giving a heads up...i love them for making me feel like im not alone in the struggle of not fitting in with this world...plus i love the weird noises and screaming in songs lol!!!
so here's some songs from albums that are in my head rn!!!! (if you want to skip my brainrot i added non-black-dresses-or-rookor-devi music that i enjoy in the end!!!)
- BLACK DRESSES (Album: LAUGHINGFISH)
CAN'T KEEP THE KNOTS OUT DON'T FORGIVE THE WORLD I STILL SEE EVERYTHING NO DAYS OFF
- Ada Rook (Album: UGLY DEATH NO REDEMPTION ANGEL CURSE I LOVE YOU)
TRU U (I WANT TO SAY. in this song. the chorus makes me think of artificer because i have a rain world brainrot but i literally dont know how and what to do with this i just love this song)
COWARD 2 COWARD (honestly PROBABLY one of my MOST favourite songs.....ironically enough) VANISH/DOOM
also i have already mentioned on my blog but Rook's separated from her twin, a dying android arrives on a mysterious island. has a special place in my heart too and also smh vibes rain world to me idk why.... also i have another favourite in Rookie's Bustle - 920LONDON (i love this song and it made me very curious about the comic with the same name i wish i could get it...)
- Devi McCallion . lately been relistening to Fun Fun Fun, an MLP based album she released under aliases of Cats Millionaire! i love her pony songs!!! all of them!!!!!!!!
my FAVOURITE song from this one is def Exclusive Royal Canterlot Wedding Playset bc...thats how i found out about this album and it was the fact that its a chrysalis song made it 100% more special bc its such a fun song i love the allegory
but generally all the songs in this album are rn looping in my head...
also been thinking about I'm So Sorry and the song with same title from it.....it just makes me feel and i can't describe what it makes me feel but i just feel this song
also i really live Receiver!!
anyways sorry this post is so long i just wanted to brainrot about my favourite music bc I'M NOT NORMAL!!!
in addition: if you want to give something i like a listen but dont vibe with what i listed i also listen to Descend by Toby Fox (from Homestuck) on loop (this ost consists of leitmotifs only(im pretty sure???) and im not normal about that), i remember the entirety of June by American Murder Song by heart, i've been drawing an answer for my latest moon clinic ask yesterday with Ocean Breathes Salty by Modest Mouse ON LOOP. it just had THE VIBE of what it has hehe. i also recently found out that i really enjoy electro swing???? ALSO as a bonus: my favourite rain world ost is.............Grumblebum! another one would be The Coast...love the melancholic feeling of it.

hi! i've been a fan for quite a while. i really admire how you seem to articulate, i found myself becoming more introspective with every video. also it's really nice to see someone talking about games and series i really love. aside from that, i wanted to ask if you had any recommendations like games, books, shows, movies?
hi hi!! thank you so much, pinning the words down is hard but worth it haha 💛
Ooh I have so many... obviously there's the games and shows I've talked about on my channel but standouts would have to be Darkwood, Nier Automata and Arcane but ALSO
Games: -A Space for the Unbound: chill fetch quests in a small town in rural Indonesia, finish your summer bucket list with your gf, pet cats, dive into the subconsciousnesses of your neighbours!
-Ender Lilies: metroidvania platformer with some tight controls like Hollow Knight, gorgeous artwork and music, you play as Lily, a young amnesiac priestess trying to purify the spirits of the dead and stop the plague ridden rain that won't stop falling, you're small and weak but you recruit different spirits to fight with you but it never feels overwhelming or bloated, really enjoyed it
-Signalis: survival horror as an android looking for her gf, she made a promise and she's going. to. fulfil. it. Dystopian future in space with lots of good old rusty machine body horror, strange senses of time and memory and there's some puzzles in there too.
-Sunless Sea: Victorian London was moved underground by bats. Don't worry about it. Go sail the seas and try and turn a profit without losing your mind from the Horrors ^.^ (deceptively a lot of reading in this, plays like a management sim meets VN)
-Omori: 4 years ago Something happened. Omori dreams his days away in his room, carefully not thinking about that Something. Some of the game is in his colourful dream worlds and some out in the real world. Fights are always tinged with emotional rock paper scissors as how you, your friends and enemies feel will affect the fight! He's about to move house and an old friend comes knocking on the door...
(-alsoPathologicisgoodyesI'moneofthoseyoutubers)
Books: -Va11-Hall-A: I...don't know whether to put a VN under games or books so I'm putting it between the two. You're a barista in a cyberpunk kinda world, you listen to patrons while making them drinks and chat. (It's chill but sometimes gets pretty heavy and has a lot of mature topics in it for the record.) -Deathless by Cathrynne M. Valente: an alternate history book that has one foot in the Russian Revolution and the other in fairytale. Marya Morevna marries Koschei the Deathless, and goes back to his kingdom. She makes friends with various folklore creatures, checks in on her sisters who all married birds and her old and new lives begin to collide.
-The Locked Tomb trilogy by Tamsyn Muir: sci-fi necromancers vie to become the next right bony hand of God, first book is a murder mystery, second is a grim tale by a survivor of the first but something is Wrong and you know it is, third is an oddly domestic political tragedy and I loved them all so much, cannot recommend the audiobooks in particular enough (as the first is a murder mystery, all the voices the narrator does are both incredibly well done but let me pinpoint exactly who was speaking even when I couldn't remember their names, also she voiced Daniella in Haunting Ground!)
-The Gentleman Bastards series by Scott Lynch: small orphan becomes a conman in fantasy Italy. Ends up being drawn into some political intrigue and fucks around finds out, frequently!
-Children of Time: Spiders! Once upon a time an arrogant scientist decided to infect monkey with a virus that would encourage rapid evolution within cooperative species but...it reaches jumping spiders. They have their own form of sign language with vibrational tappy patterns against the ground and wiggling their palps! Scientist's consciousness has melded with an AI and is waiting for her monkeys to become intelligent enough to contact her
Misc: -Dungeon Meshi: do you want to learn about the ecosystem of a dungeon while also figuring out how to cook the creatures inside and watch a guy with a monster special interest live his absolute best life? Yeah you do! (I'm really enjoying this rn so ye)
-Mabel: podcast about a home health carer for an old lady who's only living relative, Mabel, is missing. Anna, the nurse, starts leaving her voicemails like a diary and slowly gets drawn into family secrets, fairy logic and goes exploring places she shouldn't (this one does not shy away from heavy topics including serious child abuse and its effects so if that's not for you then leave this one be)
#sorry this took a while to respond to I was chewing on what to recommend!#I'm sure I like some cheerful things too but I cannot for the life of me think of any#I mean A Space for the Unbound is pretty nice for MOST of it but the last section made me cry a lot

"NOW NOW ... we might have come off on the wrong foot ... but listen, listen -" and Caelus gets no choice but to listen as Billy's arm reaches for his shoulder's, a firm grip pulling him close up, cheek to cheek as a phone would be brought up between them; ". . . I have a hunch, a good great hunch. . . that deep down we might share artistic preferences. . ."
He would have said cuisine h o w e v e r would believable would that be coming from someone who couldn't eat the same way other, slightly more humanoid individuals did ? Art was therefore far better suited, finger tapping to unlock the screen before flickering through a couple of folders, one after the other, before revealing the golden mine that was a wide array of pictures of Monica.
Oh . . . M o n i c a !
Long legs, this summer's bathing suit collection, splashing in water as she'd sport a tempting, sweet bikini - that's right, bikini, that sculpted out flawless curves, a gorgeous curve of a bare him there she'd sit beaming under - what one could assume - was the sun (of course, it was a photoshoot and she was simply posing, but oh, to be at the angle of the sun admiring the fruits and gifts of a gorgeous, stunning woman ). Luscious, blonde locks draped over her shoulders, the bikini top doing the world a favor as it'd contain what was best left to fantasy.
". . . behold . . . M o n i c a. . ." Billy introduced, finger flipping through several other pictures, all showing off the long legged blonde in a beach setting. Each picture had a different bathing suit or bikini, sometimes in water and sometimes simply stretched out on a sunbed. There'd be a longing, loving sighs coming from the android there his frame would melt against Caelus' own. Had it not been for him he surely would've fallen to the ground; ". . . The Greatest Bombshell Alive. . ."
Being locked by the onset of passion was a familiar dance. A soul that's bound for glories manifested by their excitement. There's a selective taste of such matters that either garner the Trailblazer's approval or his raw disinterest, but Billy happens to fall underneath the former. It was hard not to imagine a smile playing upon the guy's face. Through an imaginary eye, that's exactly what is being perceived as the merry glint of a phone's glow sets up before them. Right now is a time to STUDY.
"I've always pictured myself as a touch of a visionary." Caelus muttered, content in being a witness compared to a thunder-catcher. "So if that soul of yours is stirring up some intuition--" The Trailblazing soul within grins gallantly at the thought! "Show me what'cha got."
New Eridu seemingly had a new cove for him to explore, and in comparison to the bitter opportunities of hollows, why not let Billy's personal collection serve as a welcome reprieve? Initially the newest 'Agent' believed that his gunslinging 'companion' here was someone who thrived in the mechanical. Hot rods, a good Harley, something that held a fiery engine and intended to become a conqueror of all distance, all underneath skilled hands. However, the golden magnanimity before him introduces a different set of killer curves.
For an instant, that jaw of Caelus's dropped as those golden eyes flared in recognition. A hot-blooded soul could never deny the wonder before their eyes! How the sight of a pristine beach served as merely a canvas, all for the sunlit angel to parade upon those sandy grounds to dance with poses.
"Mama mia.." He rightfully adds in, leading to that mop of silver hair to lean closer to the screen.
Studying.
That coat clad arm of this Nameless would find a similar anchor of support, grasping Billy's shoulder as they'd simply marvel. A muse who directs the pages, where the gleaming stir of the camera's life and its omnipresent lens turned angles into advantages. Even the delicately made clothing, sturdy in support, yeah imaginative in the way it hugs adds to the raw appeal. Just seeing the holy light above rained down upon her, casting all hollowed shadow away in lieu for this, to let such a scene persist says more than enough.
"Monica.." He mindlessly mouths. A soft flex of the throat follows as a stir of color tinges his face, as a inspired thirst for knowledge suddenly grips him like a blight. Holding the title such as The Greatest Bombshell was certainly no small feat. No. The raw energy that pictures alone could incite says more than enough!
Beauty.. Pure and simple.
Determination would thrust Caelus into action, splitting his attention away from the screen (with great reluctance) as the android is faced.
"Tell me more. Maybe it was just one hellish mishap in the wrong direction. Let's spin the record back a song!"
